I'd only been dating Yusei for a short time so I didn't go in his room often, but I made an exception when it came to taking care of him. He'd been ill with the flu for the past few days, and insisted he didn't need a doctor. I'd agreed on the condition that I could keep a close eye on him. I tried unsuccessfully not to make too much of a fuss, but it wasn't just me that reacted that way.
Everyone pitched in to try and make Yusei feel better. Crow made him bowls of soup, while Aki, Rua and Ruka came to visit a few times, and Jack's been hovering around the whole time. Usually Jack would keep quiet but sometimes he'd make comments about how 'Yusei should be up and about by now', sounding as if he expected him to just shrug it off. Of course, Yusei was doing his best to make sure everyone stopped worrying, but it's not like he could just spontaneously recover (something I'd told Jack with annoyance).
I walked in to Yusei's room that morning to check on him, only to see he wasn't resting, but typing something on his laptop. He was still quite flushed and looked tired, though it was an improvement from the previous day where he couldn't even sit up.
"Hey... you should be resting!" I said with an attempt at sternness. "You need to get your strength back!"
"Don't worry, I'm feeling a lot better" He croaked, not sounding better at all. I noticed the glass on his bedside table was empty, and moved to refill it when Yusei started coughing. I left with the glass hastily, finding the nearest sink and returning to Yusei with a full glass in no time. His coughing had subsided by then, and he took the glass gratefully, thanking me hoarsely.
"Sure you're better." I told him with disbelief. I sighed, hating to see him like this. "Let me take your temperature."
Yusei let me put the thermometer in his mouth and waited for it to beep to indicate it was done. I took it from him and examined it. "It's just under 100°."
"That's better than before, at least." He said, attempting a small smile. Honestly, his constant insistence that I shouldn't worry was getting annoying. Of course I would worry, what did he expect?!
I harrumphed. "You just need to get well soon... c-cause it's really inconvenient, that's all... besides, Jack's constant whining is annoying." I said with a huff, cheeks heating up slightly as Yusei watched me with amusement.
"Sorry for the trouble" He said with a small chuckle and a suppressed cough.
"Don't apologise!" I snapped half-heartedly. "It's not your fault, stupid. J-just get some rest so you can recover, okay?!"
He complied and laid back down in bed, while I leaned over to make sure his blanket covered him. He gave me a look that meant 'I can do it myself', but didn't say it aloud so I didn't acknowledge it.
"Will you stay here for a bit? I don't think I can sleep just yet. We can talk until I'm a bit more tired." He said, though if you asked me, he looked about ready to pass out.
"...Fine. But don't push yourself, I don't care if you fall asleep on me." I answered with a slight huff. It was more of a habit for me to huff than an expression of reluctance or annoyance or anything like that, but Yusei noticed it.
"It's okay if you don't want to. Besides, I don't want you getting ill too." Yusei said. It wasn't the first time in the past few days that he'd found a way to worry about me coming down with something while he was in this condition.
"I don't care about that-" I was about to add 'worry about yourself for once, idiot.'
"Well I do." His blue eyes looked sincerely concerned, as if he thought I could just avoid him while he was like this.
"Whatever, I'm staying here until you fall asleep, okay?" I huffed for real this time.
He chuckled. "If you insist."
I wanted to retort that he'd asked first, but decided to leave it. I watched him yawn, still slightly hoarse, and shift slightly to get more comfortable. I couldn't help but notice how damn cute his tired, slightly flushed face was. I looked away, trying not to think too much about that. His eyes drifted closed, and I could tell he wouldn't be able to hold a conversation much longer. I just watched him for a while. It was odd, seeing him like this. Yusei had always been a source of strength for not just me, but all of our friends. But here he looked so vulnerable. Though I had to admit it was nice to see his face looking all cute, I still hated it when he was like this.
Quietly, I leaned towards his resting form, brushing some of his fringe out of his face. Trying not to rouse him, I placed a soft kiss on his forehead. He shifted slightly, and I moved back to see him watching me with half-lidded eyes. I blushed a bright shade of red and practically jumped back.
"What did I say about you getting ill?" He said, looking like he was trying not to smile. "Though I don't mind you kissing me." He added.
"D-don't get used to that kind of thing, okay?" Being as awkward as I was, I hadn't really shown him that sort of romantic affection before. "I-It's just cause you're sick."
He smiled faintly, closing his eyes again, looking half-asleep. But before he drifted off, I heard him mumble "We'll see about that."

Yusei Fudo X Reader: Would You Rather?
You wake up with Yusei nuzzling against your neck and squeezing you in his strong arms. Memories of last night come flooding him which make you blush immensely.
Usually he was quiet yet confident but whenever he was alone with you he would soften up. He loved everything that you the person you are and never stopped caring.
"Morning." You say huskily.
His only response is to tangle himself into your limbs even more, if that's even possible. "Come on, I have to get up and go to work."
"No. Call in sick." Yusei insisted nuzzling closer to you.
He was making it hard to go to work today which was his goal.
"Yusei, I-." you began.

Changing Tides - Yusei Fudo X Reader [Part 1]
You were going to do it.
Those were the only words that echoed in your head as you stood on the edge of the docks, watching silently as the waves lapped hungrily at the concrete you stood on.
You stared out at the faint figure across the water; a large, grey mass that looked absolutely disgusting even from this distance.
You watched the smoke billowing from it, the slowly darkening skies, the half-finished bridge that had held so many hopes and dreams.
All of it was disgusting.
You hated it here, in the Satellite. Everything about this place made you feel rotten. The atmosphere, the decay. Even the people made you feel like giving up.

Anime High: Yami
In the grounds of the high school, you got out of your (Relative) car. You had just started high school and were shaking like a leaf. People were walking in and you waked in as well. You decided that you would stay quiet and out of sight. You made no eye contact with anyone, although the guys you could see out of the corners of your eyes were cute. They also had huge groups of girls following them. You had to tell yourself more than once that you didn't stand a chance with any of them and that you should just forget about it.
You began in Homeroom and you got a seat at the back of the class. You took a look at your schedule and after the b
